Luis Guitierrez describes it like this: “… It's very tasty, with depth and complexity, surprising for such a young wine, powerful and long. What sets it apart from most sparkling wines is the salinity. Truly surprising!\"\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp class=\"vg-desc__p\" style=\"margin:0 0 1.15rem;\"\u003eArtadi was founded in 1986 by a group of Rioja Alavesa growers who wanted to make authentic wines with distinctive character. Today they own three wineries: Bodegas y Viñedos Artadi in Rioja, Bodegas y Viñedos Artazu in Navarra and Bodegas y Viñedos El Sequé in Alicante.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp class=\"vg-desc__p\" style=\"margin:0 0 1.15rem;\"\u003eIzar-Leku, meaning the place of the stars, comes from Gipuzkoa, from 60-year-old Hondarrabi Zuri and Hondarrabi Beltza vines grown on clay slopes with slate and basalt.
