Quinta da Aldeia Nova has 3 hectares of stony clay-limestone soils, mainly ferruginous quartz, sandstone and pebbles, at altitudes\u003cbr\u003eranging from 200 to 400 metres between the Açor, Estrela and Lousã ranges. The aim is to make wines like the great Dão wines of old: pure, light and true, made with great respect for nature and the consumer. Inácio works the vines naturally, using practices that strengthen the ecosystem's balance; several of the region's grapes have been planted, mainly Baga and Encruzado; and the winemaking is low-intervention, with spontaneous fermentations, little technology and no added oenological products, done precisely and carefully with consultant winemaker Carlos\u003cbr\u003eRaposo.
