The 2023 PS, short for Pagos Seleccionados («selected vineyards»), aged for 21 months in new French oak barrels.

It has a creamy, spicy and smoky nose, both enveloping and exuberant. It shows the classic notes of black fruit, spice, ash and high-quality oak, with a broad, round and generous palate supported by abundant tannic structure that should give it a long ageing capacity.

It has 14.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.54 and 5.33 g/L of acidity. It was bottled in September 2025.

Aalto is one of the great success stories and one of the most representative examples of modern Ribera del Duero, under the experienced guidance of winemaker Mariano García.
