The Garmón 2022 was made with gentler extraction, given the natural concentration the year provided.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt still has a fairly primary profile, with a purple colour that shows its youth. On the nose and palate it's elegant and juicy, with abundant, slightly earthy tannins. The blend includes 7% Cabernet Sauvignon and the wine reached 14.5% alcohol.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter fermentation it aged for 22 months in French oak barrels and was bottled in August 2024. 50,000 bottles were produced.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAbout the producer:\u003cbr\u003eGarmón Continental is the García family's project in Ribera del Duero, the same family behind Mauro and San Román. Since 2021 they have added a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon to the winery's only wine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe estate has 20 hectares in the appellation, spread across different villages — Moradillo, Baños, Tubilla del Lago, Hontoria, Anguix, Valbuena and Olivares.
