Description

Quinta de Santiago e Mira do Ó - SOU Tinto 2020 is an irreverent, minimal-intervention red made in the Monção e Melgaço sub-region (Vinho Verde). It was born of a genuine collaboration and friendship between producer Joana Santiago (of Quinta de Santiago) and winemaker Nuno Mira do Ó, also united by a shared passion for rock.

Quinta de Santiago x Mira do Ó – SOU Tinto 2020 has a light, delicate colour, reflecting its elegant, unpretentious profile from the start. On the nose it's very floral and subtle, with notes of dried rose petals, fine spices and a light hint of black peppercorn.

On the palate it's medium-bodied, with a fine texture and great tension, and a vibrant freshness that gives it a nervy, extremely food-friendly profile. The fruit is restrained and discreet, favouring purity, lightness and precision. The finish is tasty, classic and very balanced, made for the table and for drinking now.

A red of great elegance and restraint, made more to go with food than to impress with power: a wine of detail, freshness and authenticity.
