Terms of service
1. Alcoholic beverages sold in the Vinogrande online shop may only be purchased by persons of legal drinking age in their country of residence.
2. Under current Portuguese legislation, Vinogrande is required to add VAT at the applicable legal rate to all products. Prices shown always include VAT unless otherwise stated.
3. Product descriptions, images and any other information shown in the Vinogrande online shop may be changed without prior notice. Product images may differ from the product delivered.
4. Prices are per 750 ml bottle, unless the product description states another size.
5. Special offers published on the Vinogrande website may not apply in the physical shop.
6. Orders generally take 2 to 5 days to be delivered in mainland Portugal and 5 to 7 days in Europe and the rest of the world (except for circumstances beyond our control).
7. Orders are usually shipped by a courier company.
8. Shipping costs depend on the weight of the order and its destination and are borne by the customer, unless otherwise stated.
9. Shipping costs for orders outside mainland Portugal are not included in the final order price, so please contact Vinogrande to find out the additional cost.
10. Payment methods accepted in our online shop are: cash on delivery, Multibanco reference, bank transfer, and credit and debit card (via PayPal). For more information, please see the Payments page.
11. If Vinogrande is unable to supply all or part of a customer's order for immediate dispatch, the customer will be contacted to agree the most appropriate way to resolve the situation.
12. Orders placed through the website that are not paid within a maximum of 15 days will be cancelled.
13. All products must be inspected by the customer immediately on receipt. If any defect or damage is found, the customer must return the product to the courier, state the reason for the return on the delivery note and notify Vinogrande immediately.
14. Vinogrande is not responsible for shipments to countries whose laws do not permit the import of alcoholic beverages; the customer is responsible if the order is seized. If the product is returned, Vinogrande will refund only the value of the goods.
15. Vinogrande grants all its customers the right to withdraw from contracts entered into with it, allowing them to return products purchased within 14 days, under Decree-Law no. 143/2001 of 26 April and Decree-Law 82/2008 of 20 May.
16. The sale or supply of alcoholic beverages to persons under 16 is prohibited (Article 2 of Decree-Law 9/2002 of 24 January).
17. In the event of a dispute, consumers may refer to the following alternative consumer dispute resolution body (RAL):
