Génese Terroir de Montanha 2024 is an authentic expression of the origin and identity of Monção e Melgaço. Created by Manuel and Luís Cerdeira, this 100% Alvarinho comes from mountain slopes, reflecting the purity of the terroir and the family legacy rooted in Melgaço. Careful winemaking — slow fermentation in stainless steel, partial malolactic and a subtle spell in Mixtus barrels — gives it a distinctive personality. It has a medium yellow colour, a deep, complex aroma and a fresh, persistent flavour, with a balanced, elegant profile. With great ageing potential, this wine promises to evolve with sophistication, a true tribute to land and tradition — an excellent debut.
