Quinta de Santa Teresa Avesso Essência 2020 is a premium white from the Vinhos Verdes region (AD Wines), made from 100% Avesso. With about 16 g/L of residual sugar (off-dry), it fermented and aged in barrel, giving an unctuous, aromatic profile (ripe fruit/ginger) with vibrant acidity.

Barrel ageing clearly marks this wine's profile, giving it visual density and a hue that can recall skin-contact wines, known for their deeper colour and added structure.

On the nose it's expressive and ripe, with well-integrated oak that doesn't dominate. Hints of nuts stand out, wrapped in nuances of fruit in syrup and a delicate toasty touch.

On the palate it has good structure and volume, balanced by lively acidity that keeps it fresh and lengthens the whole, reflecting the typical character of the Baião area.
