Description

Natus Tinto 2023 (bottled in January 2024 at winemaker Hamilton Reis's family estate in Vidigueira, Alentejo) is a minimal-intervention wine that stands out for its fresh, elegant profile, far from the Alentejo's traditionally heavy style.

It's made mainly from Trincadeira and Castelão, grown as bush vines under organic farming on schist soils.

Light ruby in hue, it has an expressive, multi-faceted aroma, where wild berries meet hints of dry scrub, humus, mushrooms, herbs and spice, combining fresh red fruit with balsamic nuances.

On the palate it shows great precision and balance, supported by lively acidity that gives freshness and purity. The tannins are well integrated and polished, giving a texture that's both creamy and taut, with a crunchy profile.

The finish is long, vibrant and strongly individual, with an earthy streak that reinforces its distinctive character.
