Description
Château Saint-Maur Saint M Cru Classe 2024 is a fruity rosé with delicious aromas of fresh red fruit, herbal notes and hints of orange peel. On the palate it's elegant, fresh and balanced. A wine with lively acidity, a medium-sweet palate and a surprisingly citrusy finish.
Being a good entrepreneur involves a combination of skills, qualities and traits that allow you to make smart, effective decisions to run and grow a business. Roger Zannier , a successful and versatile businessman, has stood out in various sectors throughout his career thanks to his great business vision. As founder and head of the Zannier Group, he has above all had a significant impact on the luxury childrenswear and hospitality industries. But he also far exceeded expectations by taking on interesting projects such as Portugal's Quinta do Pessegueiro and the Chateau Saint Maur winery. The latter is in Cogolin, a French town in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, and has the highest vineyards in the whole Côte de Provence appellation (449 m altitude). A “Cru Classé” in the heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, where an extensive vineyard replanting and winery restoration programme has made it one of the best in the Côte de Provence.
The wine Château Saint-Maur Saint M Cru Classe is a rosé made from vines planted on clay-limestone soils rich in schist and quartz. Different grape varieties such as Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah, Monastrell and Cabernet, among others, are grown following organic principles, without chemicals that could upset the natural balance of the terroir. In the winery, the selected, destemmed grapes are gently crushed and given a short maceration. Fermentation uses native yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats.
With only 18 “Crus Classés” in the AOC Côtes de Provence, Château Saint-Maur Saint M Cru Classe is a rosé from its “Cru Classé” called “Saint M”. An elegant, refined rosé that, thanks to Roger Zannier's management, shows the high level of viticulture and winemaking now found in Provence.
