Description

Hehn Espumante Branco Velha Reserva Bruto DOC is an excellent sparkling wine made by the Hehn family winery (Hehn & Meireles), under winemaker Marcos Hehn Pinto da Silva. It's the ultimate expression of time and terroir from Quinta da Seara, in the prestigious Távora-Varosa Demarcated Region, Portugal's first demarcated region for sparkling wine.

Sensory Profile: Medium-intensity straw-yellow colour. Long contact with the yeasts brings complex aromas of dried fruit (such as walnut), toasty notes and touches of evolution to the nose. On the palate it stands out for its good volume and a very soft, well-integrated "mousse" (bubbles), keeping fresh, persistent acidity.
