Made from 70- and 30-year-old vines. Quite an intense ruby colour. Concentrated on the nose with interesting complexity, revealing black fruit (plum, blueberries and blackberries) mixed with raspberry, aromatic herbs, a nuance of mint and light menthol, and an earthy touch that conveys seriousness. Somewhat austere in character, with sober fruit framed by oak and gripping but not harsh tannins that linger on the finish.
