Description
With the two grapes in the blend fermented together, a greater integration of their particular qualities was achieved. One grape is known for its intense colour and aroma; the other, quite the opposite, for its discreet colour and restrained, austere aromas, giving a wine with the best of both worlds. The aromatic exuberance of one, with its red- and black-fruit tones, is tempered by the finesse and freshness of the other, with its soft aromas, where black cherry and dark chocolate, pepper and refreshing minerality stand out. Elegance and harmony are two striking features, evident on the palate, where freshness and the quality of the soft tannins come together in a whole that's admittedly clandestine in this region, yet owes it its identity!
