MOB Alfrocheiro 2021

From high-altitude vineyards in Seia, MOB Alfrocheiro 2021 is a wine of rare elegance and depth. It has an open colour, reminiscent of wines from colder climates, immediately suggesting its delicacy and freshness.

On the nose, it stands out for its finesse and aromatic complexity, with subtle floral notes harmoniously integrated with fresh red fruit, creating a very pure and sophisticated olfactory profile. The 12-month aging in used 500-litre French oak barrels gives it structure without masking the identity of the grape variety.

In the mouth, it surprises with its apparent lightness, which contrasts with a striking intensity and character. The texture is precise, with fine, well-polished tannins, and a long finish that reflects its restrained but firm personality.

This is, without a doubt, the most “intellectual” MOB, where Alfrocheiro’s precision, subtlety and authenticity are expressed with rare clarity.
