Teixuga Vineyards White 2nd Edition

Varieties: Several typical regional varieties found in the old Teixuga vineyard, which consistently produces large grapes.

Vinification and Aging: The wines that are the basis of this batch, from the 2016, 2018 and 2020 harvests, after fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, were aged in used French oak barrels. During the aging, “bâtonnage” was carried out periodically, in order to obtain optimal integration of the wine with the barrel, aging that varied between 3 and 7 years. In the end, 12 barrels were carefully selected that revealed to the winemakers the ideal characteristics for the objective in view: the harmonization of wines from three different years so that the whole would be superior to the parts!

Tasting Notes: With a golden hue, this wine presents expressive aromas of apricot, hazelnut and soft smoky notes of great complexity. In the mouth it is fresh, elegant and full, with an explosive mid-palate, confirming what the aroma had already suggested. A very persistent finish that will leave pleasant memories in your memory.
