Description
Domaine Bohrmann Saint-Aubin 1er Cru "Derrière chez Edouard" 2021 is a prestigious red Burgundy made from Pinot Noir. It comes from old vines of about 45 years on a clay-limestone slope in the Côte de Beaune.
This estate is a family property under the Belgian flag. These young producers started in 2002 and have 12 hectares of vines. Sofie Bohrmann, owner and manager, handles the promotion and sale of the wines. Dimitri Blanc, manager, is responsible for growing the vines, making and ageing the wines. They're young in winemaking, so the only way to prove their credibility is by making quality wines.
Saint-Aubin 1er Cru 'Derrière chez Edouard' is 100% Pinot Noir from 45-year-old vines, aged in French oak barrels for 15-18 months. The nose has intense aromas of ripe blackcurrant, while the palate is full and long.
