She by Poeira Tinto 2019 is a highly elegant, subtle and fresh Portuguese red made by winemaker Jorge Nobre Moreira at the renowned Quinta do Poeira, in Provesende in the Pinhão valley, in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region. Olga Martins was inspired to create this project and dedicated it to the women in her life, especially her daughter.

The 2019 seeks to express a more elegant, fresher side of the estate. They also want to keep the varietal character of Touriga Franca/Francesa, with moderate alcohol and concentration. It has a serious nose with notes of wild berries and herbs, and a juicy palate with a soft texture, fine tannins, integrated acidity and 12.5% alcohol. It fermented in lagar and concrete spheres and matured in concrete spheres and foudres. 3,300 bottles were produced. It was bottled in July 2022.

Poeira, or Quinta do Poeira, is the family project of couple Jorge Moreira and Olga Martins. They own nine hectares in Provesende, in the Pinhão valley, where the winery is, with vines aged 21 to 70 years, plus two hectares in Covas do Douro planted in 1950. They produce 40,000 bottles.
