Description

Quinta do Monte D'Oiro Pepita Oiro Branco 2024 (often written simply as Pepita Branco) is an organic wine from the renowned Quinta do Monte d'Oiro, in the Lisboa wine region (Alenquer).

The Pepita line, launched by Quinta do Monte d'Oiro, is a very recent niche project focused on the natural wine movement (minimal intervention, spontaneous fermentation and no added sulphites).

The "Pepita" range reflects an approach centred on purity of terroir and minimal intervention.

Quinta do Monte d’Oiro Pepita Oiro Branco 2024 — Tasting Note

It shows an elegant golden hue and a complex, distinctive aromatic profile, with notes of pine needles, tea leaf and hazelnut, wrapped in delicate sea-air nuances and a subtle oxidative character that adds depth and personality.

On the palate it has excellent volume and a striking structure, combining intensity and texture with linear, vibrant acidity that keeps it fresh and balanced. It finishes long, persistent and sophisticated, leaving an impression of great complexity and elegance.

Food pairing: Ideal with full-flavoured shellfish, grilled oily fish, salt-cod dishes and creamy pasta, showing its best with richer, more complex dishes.

Serving temperature: 10 ºC to 12 ºC.

Grégory Viennois: The estate's leading French consultant winemaker. Viennois (formerly with the renowned house of Michel Chapoutier in the Rhône Valley) supports the technical team to make sure the vision of wines with a "European/Rhône" profile, yet deeply Portuguese and organic at heart, is followed to the letter.
