Doña Francisca 2019

Made from traditional old Douro vineyards, including Touriga Nacional and Tinta Francisca, this is a wine with a ruby ​​color, notes of red fruits and spices, yet with fresh, fine and ripe tannins.

The wine is the result of the personal project of António Augusto Ferreira, who after several years involved in the world of beer, decided to settle in Folgosa do Douro and start producing premium wines.

This Dona Francisca 2019 has a dark ruby ​​color with hints of violet. On the nose, it is intense, with ripe aromas of black fruits, cherries and blackberries, harmonized with the presence of new wood, which gives it greater complexity. In the mouth, it is broad, round, with soft and fine tannins, notes of cherry and a light touch of spice. Fresh and balanced, it has a long and mineral finish.
