After seven harvests as a winemaker at Real Companhia Velha, Jorge Moreira felt the need to start an individual project where he could apply his ideas and control the entire production process. Without compromise, a wine that would reflect his interpretation of the Douro. In 2001, he started the Poeira project, located in Provesende, along a hillside in the Pinhão valley, on the right bank of the river of the same name.

Old vineyard with several mixed varieties and Touriga Nacional. The elegance and subtle fruitiness of Touriga blends here with earthy notes, heather, aromatic herbs and blueberries, with brilliant complexity and finesse. The tannins are perfect, extremely polished, and the acidic freshness runs through the wine from end to end, leaving a trace of precision, elegance and class.
