Made from grapes from the old vineyards of Quinta da Teixuga, with a predominance of the Encruzado variety, this wine fermented in a first phase in stainless steel vats, subject to temperature control, finishing fermentation in French oak barrels, where it aged for 34 months. . During the aging period, “bâtonnage” was carried out periodically, in order to obtain the optimal integration of the wine with the wood. After bottling, this wine aged for approximately 7 months in the bottle. Therefore, given the particular aging conditions and the characteristics so specific to the Encruzado grape variety, this is a wine with great aging capacity.

Aging : 34 months in new and used French oak barrels with periodic battonage. After bottling, it aged for around 7 months in the bottle.
