Castro Ventosa Valtuille Vino de Villa 2020

Valtuille Vino de Villa, one of the pioneering wines in DO Bierzo's new "Vinos de Pueblo" category. Another commitment to quality over quantity. With minimal intervention, the wine manages to interpret this Bierzo landscape with the utmost respect and absolute elegance. This wine follows the DO Bierzo zonal classification and is made from several plots located in the municipality of Valtuille , some of them mythical or adjacent to more prestigious plots in the region. As a curiosity, in addition to Mencía , other minority varieties, both white and red, are used in its coupage . Furthermore, fermentation is carried out with whole bunches (without stemming). The result is a limited production of 5,000 bottles whose previous harvest was awarded 94 Parker points by Luis Gutiérrez.
