This wine comes from an old and forgotten unmarked region, just south of the Douro border. Old vines (80-100 years old), high altitude (700m), granite soils, a mix of various white and red grape varieties, beautiful east-facing exposure, and especially a group of people who cherish the vineyards as their grandparents did. This small project aims to prevent this place from disappearing, nor its old vines from being replaced by more productive ones.

A red wine with a strong identity, born from an old vineyard where grape varieties such as Rufete, Jaen, Baga and many other native varieties coexist in harmony, translated here into a production limited to just 3,000 bottles. It has an open, translucent, almost ethereal colour, which anticipates the aromatic delicacy. On the nose, it is precise and elegant, with notes of wild strawberries, lavender, humus and a touch of dried vegetable — all very subtle, but deeply expressive.

In the mouth, it surprises with its lightness and purity: medium body, with restrained and vibrant red fruit, wrapped in an invigorating freshness. The earthy and fine spice notes add layers of complexity. It is a wine of great character and uniqueness, a true “vin de soif” that enchants with its ease of drinking, but also with what it reveals with each sip — an exercise in balancing rusticity and sophistication.
