Palladius is the great white of Eben Sadie's Sadie Family Wines in Swartland, South Africa, and one of the country's most acclaimed whites.
It is a blend of several white varieties from old vines, based on Chenin Blanc. The 2022 shows stone fruit, citrus, honey, herbs and saline notes, with a broad texture, good acidity and a long finish. It is 13.5% abv.
Pair with grilled fish, shellfish, poultry and cheese. Serve at 10–12 °C.
Store the bottle lying down, away from light and vibration, at a steady 12 to 14 °C. At Vinogrande every bottle is carefully packed so it reaches you in the best condition.
