Description
Tignanello is the Marchesi Antinori red that changed the history of Tuscan wine by pairing Sangiovese with Bordeaux varieties and barrique ageing. It comes from the Tignanello vineyard on the Tenuta Tignanello estate in Chianti Classico and is classified as Toscana IGT.
A Sangiovese-led blend with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, aged in oak. The 2022 shows ripe cherry, spice and balsamic notes, with firm structure and good acidity.
Perfect with bistecca alla fiorentina, pasta with ragù or aged cheese. Serve at 18–20 °C.
Store the bottle lying down, away from light and vibration, at a steady 12 to 14 °C. At Vinogrande every bottle is carefully packed so it reaches you in the best condition.
