Mário Sérgio founded Quinta das Bágeiras in 1989 in the village of Fogueira, bringing together the vineyards of both his grandfathers; the name came from locals, who would say 'there goes Fausto to his Quinta das Bágeiras'. With the support of his father, Abel, 12 hectares that had sold wine in bulk began producing wines under their own label, made with minimal intervention.

Description
The fruit of three generations' work, this brandy is a careful selection of the best produced at Quinta das Bágeiras. It was double-distilled in a Charentais still. After a slow ageing process of a quarter of a century in 50-litre oak barrels, 307 bottles were filled in 2015 to mark Quinta das Bágeiras's 25th anniversary.
