Description

Verdejo is the queen of DO Rueda.
We make this wine from old vines in Olmedo, in the province of Valladolid, where Verdejo expresses a distinctive, particular character.
Verdejo gives rich, very full-bodied wines, more structured than our Gabacha Sauvignon Blanc.
Pale yellow with beautiful greenish edges, this white, which we have made at CASA ROJO since 2012, has a very attractive brightness.
On the nose, herbal tones stand out, with subtle menthol and some anise, very well accompanied by notes of apple, grapefruit and pineapple.
On the palate, El Gordo del Circo is flavoursome and fresh, with body and structure and the bitter, aniseed finish typical of this grape.

ColourStraw yellow with bright greenish tones. The nose is elegant and very intense, with herbal, white-fruit and stone-fruit notes and a spicy, citrus touch. On the palate it is broad and sweet-fruited, from its ageing on the lees, with a freshness that gives balance and length.
