Description
Davide 2022 is a 100% Albariño made by Bodega Davide in the Val do Salnés sub-zone of D.O. Rías Baixas, Galicia. Made by grower David Acha and winemaker Pablo Estévez, it was named "Best Albariño Wine of 2022" among more than 53 brands.
An emotional Albariño, harmoniously combining intensity, freshness and elegance. A complex, sophisticated wine with marine notes, standing out for its range of aromas of white flowers, honeysuckle, aromatic herbs, light balsamic notes, mint, intense citrus (pomelo, lime), tropical fruit (lychee) and exotic fruit. On the palate markedly fruity, fresh, structured, broad and silky. Tasty throughout, with a powerful finish.
Fiesta del Albariño 2022 (Cambados): It won 1st Prize, chosen from more than 53 brands as the best wine of the year in D.O. Rías Baixas.
Bacchus Awards 2023: The Davide Observador 2022 variant (a blend of Albariño and Godello) received the prestigious Gran Baco de Oro (Great Golden Bacchus) with 93 points.
Baco Awards (Unión Española de Catadores): Winemaker Pablo Estévez was named Spain's Best Young-Wine Winemaker consecutively from 2019 to 2025, covering the production period of the 2022 vintage.
Guía Peñín: Historically, this winery's wines score highly (often above 90 points), praised for their freshness and balance.
