Campolargo Rosé Pinot Noir Sparkling Wine

It is not easy to produce good still Pinot Noir wines in southern Europe, but when it comes to sparkling wines, the situation is completely different. With the appropriate Pinot clone and in a cooler area (either due to proximity to the sea or altitude), the French grape variety rarely fails, lending refinement and complexity to sparkling wine base wines. Campolargo, in Bairrada, has been working with this variety for a long time, with excellent results. With a beautiful brick colour, it has a very elegant aroma, with toasted hints of biscuit and dried fruit, in a register of great complexity for a wine that is still relatively young. The flavour is very light and fresh, with very firm and vibrant acidity, which makes it particularly suitable to accompany a meal.
