Havana Club Añejo 7 Años was brought into the world by the legendary Cuban “Maestro Ronero” Don José Navarro. Cuban maestros used to drink extra-aged rum at the distillery, but it was Don José Navarro who decided to share this style of rum with the rest of the world. Some rums are made for mixing; this style was made for sipping neat. Using the tradition and skills handed down by earlier generations of Maestros, Navarro blended and aged his nectar over several cycles to create a very complex rum with a wealth of flavours that remains incredibly easy to enjoy neat.
