Description
Ladairo Barrica reflects the native character of DO Monterrei. Made mainly from Mencía with a small share of Araúxa (as Tempranillo is known locally) and Merenzao. Hand-picked at optimal ripeness.
Adegas Ladairo vinifies each grape variety separately, blending after each has been macerated and fermented. To finish, Ladairo Barrica 2018 goes into French, American and Hungarian oak barrels, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and rests for 8 months.
Ladairo Barrica at a Glance

Palate: A meaty wine, with ripe tannins and a persistent, elegant finish.
