Description

Quinta dos Abibes Bical 2019 is an excellent white from the prestigious Bairrada demarcated region, made exclusively from 100% Bical. It's a very exclusive, limited production of just 2,133 bottles in this vintage, underlining its premium character. This wine recently had its quality recognised internationally with a Gold Medal at the respected Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2025.

Clear and crystalline, it has an attractive citrine-yellow colour with delicate greenish glints. The nose shows great expression and sophistication, standing out for its mineral component wrapped in aromas of white-fleshed fruit, citrus notes and subtle exotic hints. Fermentation and ageing in wood are perfectly integrated, adding elegant nuances of coconut and aromatic complexity.

PalateOn the palate it shows excellent structure and volume, balanced by vibrant acidity giving freshness and precision. The whole is harmonious, deep and very expressive, ending in a broad, fresh and persistently long finish that shows the potential and nobility of Bical.
