Description

Garnier & Fils Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Milieu Branco 2022 is a high-end white from the prestigious Chablis region in Burgundy (France), made entirely from Chardonnay. This prestigious Premier Cru comes from vines about 35 to 40 years old on a sun-drenched slope with soils rich in limestone and fossil shells (Kimmeridgian).

Grapes from 35-year-old vines bought from this land of white stones were aged in 600-litre barrels (demi-muid) and blended with 30% wine aged in stainless steel. French oak adds complexity that combines with the purity of stainless steel. The white gold that clings to the sides of the glass evokes, with its shine, fully ripe Chardonnay. The wine is full-bodied, and the oyster shells in the subsoil leave a unique touch of salinity.

Subtle notes of pollen rise from a vanilla perfume. Its rich entry leads to a core of fleshy yellow fruit. Direct and saline, this wine is the epitome of its terroir and will be for a long time.
