Description
Garnier & Fils Petit Chablis Branco 2022 is an elegant French white, young and refreshing, made in Burgundy by brothers Xavier and Jérôme Garnier. Made from a single 2.2-hectare parcel of 100% Chardonnay, it's aged for about 6 to 10 months in stainless-steel tanks on fine lees to preserve the purity and liveliness of the fruit.
This Chardonnay comes from a single vineyard parcel on a steep hillside with great sun exposure and drainage. Considered a premium site for Petit Chablis, it benefits from good ripening with the freshness of the region's cool climate.
Xavier and Jérôme Garnier are two brothers united by a passion for growing vines and making wine. Together they make a team that has gone beyond the boundaries of the appellation while respecting local identity and tradition.
That's the essence of Domaine Garnier. Based in Ligny-le-Châtel, at the northern edge of Chablis, they benefit from an even cooler climate and soil rich in limestone and even sand. The Domaine also has vineyards in other local villages such as Lignorelles, a steep hillside known for giving better Petit Chablis, and of course in the prestigious Premier and Grand Cru vineyards.
With a philosophy of utmost respect for the environment and traditional winemaking, the Garnier brothers make wines full of character.
Delicate aromas of white flowers, lime, peach and green apple. Deliciously fresh and delicate, with a mouthwatering finish.
