Description
Patrick Javillier Bourgogne Côte d'Or Cuvée des Forgets Branco 2024 is a prestigious white Burgundy (France), made entirely from Chardonnay. This vintage stands out for its balance, freshness and strong influence from vineyards on the lower slopes of Meursault.
Elegant and expressive, this wine shows a harmonious nose of white flowers, ripe apple and citrus, enriched by delicate nuances of butter, vanilla and toasted nuts from oak ageing.
PalateOn the palate it's enveloping and silky, with a creamy texture and pleasant volume, balanced by vibrant acidity and a distinctive mineral component. The whole shows balance, depth and very elegant persistence.
Origin and Terroir: Made by the prestigious Domaine Patrick Javillier from grapes grown on clay-soil plots in the commune of Meursault. This origin contributes to a rich, structured, opulent profile, evoking some of the most striking features of the great wines of this celebrated Côte de Beaune appellation.
Food Pairing: Its structure and creaminess make it particularly versatile at the table, perfect with roast poultry or poultry in sauce, oily fish and creamy dishes.
