ALLO could simply be a greeting, or perhaps a reference to the famous BBC comedy series ‘Allo ‘Allo! , but it is the combination of the initials of Alvarinho and Loureiro, two noble grape varieties from Minho. Loureiro, which represents 70% of the blend of this wine, contributes its floral notes, while Alvarinho is responsible for the structure of ALLO . By combining the delicate nature of Loureiro with the confidence of Alvarinho, ALLO is a wine that represents both the fun and serious sides of our Territory.

Terroir: The Alvarinho and Loureiro grapes that make up this wine come from terroirs that are ideal for growing each of them. The Loureiro vines are grown in an area with Atlantic influence, where the temperature range is relatively low, thus preserving the typical aromas of this variety, while the Alvarinho grapes come from an inland region protected by the mountains of Monção and Melgaço, thus providing dominance of the aromatic precursors of tropical fruits, so characteristic of this grape variety.

Winemaking: The grapes are harvested by hand. After pressing, the must is clarified at a low temperature. Loureiro and Alvarinho ferment separately in stainless steel, aging on the lees before blending and bottling.
