Soalheiro Sauvignon Blanc & Alvarinho 2022

Soalheiro Sauvignon Blanc & Alvarinho is the result of Soalheiro's constant quest to discover the region's full potential. After our success with Pinot Noir, we decided to explore what expressions of Sauvingon Blanc could grow in our region. This search resulted in a unique Sauvignon Blanc, different from its expressions in France or New Zealand. The excellent adaptation of the Sauvignon Blanc variety to Minho makes it an interesting combination with the Alvarinho variety, resulting in a blend with the first showing itself more on the nose and the second contributing to rounding off the taste.

Soalheiro Sauvignon Blanc & Alvarinho pairs perfectly with fish, seafood, white meats, as well as Asian and Mediterranean dishes. Sauvignon Blanc's unique Atlantic-influenced primary flavors also make it a great partner for grilled vegetables like asparagus or courgette, or for more complex dishes like vegetarian lasagna.
