Castillo Cheval Blanc 2014

Known worldwide, Château Cheval Blanc is one of the legendary estates of the Right Bank of the Bordeaux region. The estate’s second wine, Petit Cheval, offers an excellent introduction to the excellence of the great Cheval Blanc wine, with refined and powerful wines on a palate with bold and delicious fruit. With a new winery designed by Christian de Portzamparc and inaugurated in June 2011, Château Cheval Blanc continues to write the legend of the greatest Bordeaux wines.

The nose of the Château Cheval Blanc 2014 is rich, airy and reflects an impressive intensity, evolving into a bouquet of cedar. Aromas of black fruits, such as blackberry and blackcurrant, and red fruits, such as cherry and raspberry, harmonize perfectly with floral notes.

On the palate, the attack is frank and powerful, almost opulent. Then, the texture reveals itself to be creamy and dense, supported by beautiful tension and perfectly ripe tannins. The finish, fresh and elegant, impresses with its remarkable persistence.
