In 2010 Silvio Denz, co-owner of Clos d'Agon and Peter Sisseck purchased the property. A circumstance that gave him the opportunity to rediscover Bordeaux.
For those who don't know anything, Silvio Denz is a perfumer, art collector and founder of Lalique. His passion for wine led him to acquire two large wine distribution houses in Zurich, one of which is in fact the largest wine auction house in Switzerland: Les Grands Vins Wermuth SA.
Since then, it has acquired properties such as Château Péby Faugères and Château Faugères in Saint-Émilion, Château de Chambrun in the AOC Lalande de Pomerol and Château Cap de Faugères in the AOC Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux. He is also a partner of Montepeloso in Tuscany (Italy) and Clos d'Agon in Catalonia.
The vineyard is located on the Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes plateau, a terroir marked by a large expanse of limestone soils dating back to the Low Oligocene and which are famous for producing very fine wines, with an unusual freshness.
