A passionate story that began in 1973, when the famous filmmaker Italo Zingarelli decided to fulfill his dream of producing wine and bought Tenuta Le Macìe. Perhaps you didn't imagine that, in a few decades, Rocca delle Macìe would become one of the great Italian brands. Today run by his son Sergio, the winery has 6 properties, 4 in Chianti Classico (Le Macìe, Sant'Alfonso, Riserva di Fizzano and Le Tavolelle) and 2 in Maremma (Campomaccione and Casamaria). All wines enchant with their typicality, elegance and gastronomic vocation.
Tasty plums, mushrooms, leather and spicy oranges on the nose, with a medium-bodied palate rounded by firm but polished tannins. Elegant and refined.
