The Antinori family has been involved in wine production for over six hundred years. In 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member of the Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri. Throughout its long history, spanning 26 generations, the family has always managed this activity directly, making innovative and sometimes courageous choices, but always maintaining an unwavering respect for tradition and the territory.

James Suckling: Subtle and beautiful on the nose, with aromas of blackcurrant, flowers and a light touch of sage, which follow through to a full body with ultra-fine tannins and a long, flavoursome finish. Extremely polished and balanced. Elegant. Best from 2028.

The Wine Advocate: Dark and dense in color, the Solaia 2020 is mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, with smaller percentages of Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese. This vintage stands out for its lush richness and dense layers of blackberry and plum. The tannins are sweet and masterfully crafted, giving depth and weight to the fruit. The 2020 vintage is quite bold and highlights its best qualities in terms of texture and mouthfeel. It is a fuller-bodied and more approachable wine compared to the last two vintages available on the market. Notes of spice, roasted coffee bean and more dark fruit enrich this full-bodied Tuscan red.
