Filipa Pato Our Mission Red 2019

Filipa Pato is proof of the old saying “like father, like son”. Although she followed in the footsteps of her father Luís Pato, including in her academic training, Filipa always wanted to have her own world, her own project, where she would show her ideas and rise under her own steam. It was the 2001 harvest, a great year in Bairrada, that would provide all of this.

Today, her wines are the result of Filipa's innovative and brilliant spirit, which quickly became successful nationally and internationally.

The colour is dark but bright, intense dark cherry red with a purple rim and great viscosity. The aromas are reminiscent of strawberries and violets with a subtle mineral aroma, a little spice and sandalwood when the wine is young.
