Dark amber in color with the aforementioned bouquet of orange peel, sugar cane, nutmeg, vanilla and old barrels. What is it about good wine that always tickles my nose - and nearly makes me sneeze? This one does and maybe it's the concentration of the wine and the glass-filling bouquet? Great complexity, both in bouquet and on the palate, and I find myself returning to that particular glass several times during the tasting. Just to smell it.
