Quinta da Pellada 49 Red 2013

Quinta da Pellada is mainly made from “field blend” grapes from old vineyards, but also from Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz varieties, which reveal the intense fruit and freshness of the vineyard’s grapes that give this wine its name. It has the most heterogeneous soils – all granite as a base – and the most limited blend (Touriga Nacional and Alfrocheiro). It was aged in well-used French barrels for 28 months. Quinta da Pellada 49 has an intense garnet colour. Bergamot, orange peel and wild flower aromas. On the palate, spices, cocoa and vanilla. Expressive, elegant and with generous tannins. Very gastronomic.
