Description
Young and expressive on the nose, this wine brings the character of the Douro Superior straight into the glass. The nose is complex and enveloping, with layered fruit (ripe blackberries and blueberries) alongside notes of fresh cocoa, heather and rockrose, and a ripe floral touch that adds elegance. The oak is very well integrated, offering subtle touches of spice and fine tobacco.
PalateOn the palate it has good substance and a medium-bodied structure, supported by balanced acidity that gives it freshness and rhythm. It shows great complexity, with mineral ‘nuances’ and fine tannins that promise excellent development in bottle. The whole is super elegant, finely tuned and deeply representative of the Douro terroir.
A modern, authentic Douro, full of identity and with a promising future.
