Description
It shows remarkable aromatic intensity, revealing unusual complexity from the first contact. The nose is deep and enveloping, with layers slowly unfolding into notes of dried grass, bay leaf and subtle hints of toasted hazelnut. On the palate it confirms its singular profile: it's extremely dry, with firm, vibrant acidity, almost recalling the austerity of a fino sherry. Saline, iodine ‘nuances’ stand out, giving it a striking Atlantic character. The tannins, rare in whites of this grape, are clearly present and structure the wine with plenty of grip and persistence. An extraordinary Loureiro, immense and distinctive, that breaks with the grape's traditional profile and shows all the longevity and depth it can reach.
