Description
Barca Velha 2011 is a deep, lively ruby wine. Its complex nose highlights spices such as pepper and balsamic notes such as cedar and tobacco box. This range is perfectly matched with red-fruit notes and high-quality, well-integrated oak. On the palate it shows vibrant acidity, very firm tannins, notes of spice, black fruit and balsamic flavours. The finish is what its predecessors have always led us to expect: extremely long, with great elegance and complexity.
