Description
Quinta de Chocapalha Cabernet Sauvignon Tinto 2022 is a Portuguese red made in the prestigious Lisboa region (formerly Estremadura) by Quinta de Chocapalha. Made from vines over 30 years old planted on clay-limestone soils, this single-variety wine shows the classic profile of the international grape with the signature freshness of the region's Atlantic terroir.
ColourDeep, very clear violet, it shows an intense, striking appearance from the start.
AromaOn the nose it shows all the grape's personality, in an elegant profile combining ripe black fruit, especially blackberry and blackcurrant, with delicate spicy notes.
PalateOn the palate it has a firm structure wrapped in a soft, harmonious texture. Balanced, discreet acidity supports the whole, while gentle tannins make for an elegant, well-integrated wine. The finish stands out for its freshness and persistence, leaving a sense of balance and revealing excellent potential to develop in bottle.
