This wine: 2 out of 5 — closer to «light».
How heavy and full the wine feels in your mouth — from light like skimmed milk to rich like cream. It comes mainly from alcohol, extract and, in sweet wines, sugar.

Description
Every year, a significant proportion of wines from earlier harvests, known as ‘reserve wines’, is added to the cuvée at 20 to 40% to achieve this goal. The harmony of Brut Classic comes from exceptional ageing of at least 30 months on the lees, the quality of its grapes (97% from Champagne's great crus), the selection of those crus (20 to 30), all from the heart of the Marne, the use of first-pressing wines and the right balance between the three great Champagne grapes: Pinot Noir (1/3), Pinot Meunier (1/3) and Chardonnay (1/3).
This Champagne is best served at receptions, with cheese canapés, poultry or seafood such as prawns; it can also be served with the simplest green-leaf salad or the most sophisticated seafood or poultry terrine, or even a cold pasta salad. Cheeses are welcome too, such as Emmental or Swiss, Brie or Dutch Tilsit.
ColourColour Deep golden colour, exceptional "finesse".
AromaNose Very expressive, with white floral notes, toasted bread, almond and ripe fruit, pears.
Palate On the palate, the freshness of Chardonnay and the unctuousness of Pinot Noir combine with the softness of Pinot Meunier, with a fruity, very persistent finish.
