Description
Dönnhoff Riesling Spätlese Norheimer Kirschheck 2023 is a medium-sweet wine of remarkable character from one of the Nahe's oldest and most renowned vineyards, known for its grey slate and red sandstone soils.
The Wine AdvocateRP 93+Reviewed by: Stephan Reinhardt
The Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Riesling Spätlese 2023 has a deep, pure, intense and still slightly buttery nose, with mineral rather than fruity notes to the fore. On the palate it's dense, sweet and savoury, a compact, concentrated Spätlese, but also quite sweet, with crystalline, saline acidity and a finish of great firmness. Declared alcohol: 8.5%. Screw cap. Tasted in October 2024.
